NOTE TIME CORRECTION: Westchester and Mamaroneck Candidates To Face Off at LWV Forum, October 28 at 7 PM

With seats up for election at the town, village and county levels this year, the League of Women Voters of Larchmont-Mamaroneck will be hosting a candidates’ forum on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Mamaroneck Courtroom, 740 W. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.

Candidates in contested elections (for Westchester County Legislator, Mamaroneck Village Mayor, and one Mamaroneck Village Trustee) will debate each other as they answer questions from the LWV-LM and audience. Candidates with no opposition (for Mamaroneck Town Supervisor and two Mamaroneck Town Council members) will also respond to questions.

The following candidates are slated to debate on each date (asterisk signifies incumbent):

Westchester County Legislature (District 7):

Catherine Parker*, (Democrat, Working Families)
Susan Watson (Republican, Conservative, Reform)

Mamaroneck Town Supervisor:
Nancy Seligson* (Democrat, uncontested)

Mamaroneck Town Council Members:
Thomas Murphy*, Abby Katz* (both Democrats, both uncontested)

Mamaroneck Village Mayor:
Norman Rosenblum* (Republican, Conservative, Independence, Friendly Village, Reform)
Dan Natchez (Democrat, Mamaroneck First)

Mamaroneck Village Trustee:

Louis Santoro* (Republican, Conservative, Independence, Friendly Village, Reform)
Thomas Burt (Democrat, Mamaroneck First)
