UPDATES FOR JUNE 23RD PRIMARY ELECTIONS
– In-person voting on June 23rd and early voting dates will be in effect.
– No excuse will be needed to request an absentee ballot if the voter has concerns about the pandemic that would keep them away from the polls on the election dates.
– Boards of Elections will automatically send absentee ballot application forms to all qualified voters.
– Paid return postage will be included with application forms and absentee ballots.
– There will be two absentee ballots, one for the Presidential Primary and the second with all other primaries.
– Absentee ballot requests submitted heretofore will still be valid without further action by the voter.
– Boards of Elections must also make available at their offices a voting system that is accessible for voters wishing to mark their ballot privately and independently.
