At our annual meeting, we will vote on board membership and approve a budget. Both members & non-members are invited and high school & college students will receive free memberships.
Then we will honor Mamaroneck High School’s Joe Liberti for:
- his years of teaching Government and AP US Government & Politics
- developing and directing the 4-year Original Civic Research and Action (OCRA) program that helps students become civic advocates
- originating the MHS field trip to the New Hampshire Presidential Primaries
- partnering with the League of Women Voters to register high school students to vote
- his ongoing friendship with the League of Women Voters
