Register now for this moderated candidate forum, hosted by LWV of Westchester. Both candidates whose names will appear on the ballot in the race to serve Congressional District 16 in the U.S. House of Representatives have agreed to participate.

The candidate forum will offer an opportunity for candidate opening and closing statements, as well as a question-and-answer format with timed responses. An LWV of Westchester-trained moderator from outside of CD 16 will preside, and the forum will be conducted in a way that does not promote or advance any candidate over another.

Questions to be posed at the forum will be finalized in advance but not made available to the candidates or any of their staff members. Submit your questions here by Thursday, October 1, 2026.

Guidelines for Audience Questions

Audience questions will be collected through this form only. A representative set of audience questions will be chosen by a panel of LWVW members based on relevancy to the office with the aim of avoiding duplication and addressing as wide a range of general topics as possible. Questions of a similar nature may be combined and/or reworded for the sake of clarity and to prevent redundancy. All questions chosen for inclusion will be posed by the moderator.

  • Questions must be suitable for all candidates to answer.
  • Questions must not contain inappropriate language, disparaging remarks, or personal attacks directed at any candidate or other individual or group.
  • Questions must not editorialize or be argumentative.
