VOL Elections Will Move to November, Beginning 2021

In March, the Larchmont Village elections were postponed due to COVID-19 and, ultimately, moved to September 15. Since then, the Larchmont Village Board approved a permanent change for the date of elections, which requires voter approval in a referendum.

Re-elected on September 15:

Positions: All candidates ran unopposed
* Lorraine Walsh for Mayor
* Peter Fanelli, Sarah Bauer for Board of Trustees

Referendum Passed: “Should the annual Village of Larchmont Election Day be changed from the third Tuesday in March to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November (the same date as the General Election), starting in the year 2021?”

To Vote by Absentee Ballot: September 8 is the last day for the Village Clerk to receive applications for absentee ballots to be mailed to qualified voters.

2. At this late date, it is advisable to hand deliver your application to Village Hall to ensure it arrives by the September 8 deadline.
3. Once you receive your ballot, return it by hand or mail. It must be received or postmarked no later than September 15.
