  • LWV Forum for NYS Assembly District 91 CANCELLED

The League of Women Voters of Larchmont Mamaroneck announces that a proposed Candidate Forum for N.Y. Assembly District 91 will not be held. The incumbent, Democratic Candidate Steve Otis, responded that he is available for the forum, but the challenger, Republican Katie Manger, has not responded to the LWV’s invitation.

A candidates forum with only one candidate present is an open or empty chair meeting, which is not permitted under League rules and its policy of nonpartisanship. The League regrets that this important educational event for voters has to be cancelled.
